Sopranos Actress Dies of Cancer at Age 46

Denise Borino-Quinn, best known as mob boss Johnny Sack's wife Ginny Sacramoni on The Sopranos, has died at age 46.

The actress died of cancer Wednesday at Morristown Memorial Hospital in New Jersey, and a funeral mass was held for her Saturday, CNN reports.

Before being part of the HBO criminal crew on television, Borino-Quinn was a legal secretary and part-time manicurist in New Jersey.

But her lucky day came when she was plucked from obscurity and selected from 14,000 actresses in an open casting call for The Sopranos.
