Casey Johnson (September 24, 1979 – January 4, 2010)
Casey Johnson was an American socialite and "celebutante." She was also one of the great-great-granddaughters of Robert Wood Johnson I, co-founder of Johnson & Johnson. Her father, Robert Wood Johnson IV, is the owner of the New York Jets NFL team. She was 30 years old at the time of her death.
Johnson was a member of the class of rich heirs and heiresses of wealthy and sometimes famous families whose main accomplishments in life revolved around parties, self-publicizing events and were "famous for being famous." She once had the opportunity to appear with another well-known celebutante, Paris Hilton, in the television reality series, The Simple Life, but Johson turned the offer down. She later said that turning Hilton's offer down was one of the biggest mistakes of her life
The cause of death is as yet unknown, though authorities rule out foul play. Johnson suffered from childhood diabetes. She was in a relationship with celebrity Tila Tequila, and had engaged in relationships with both men and women in the past.
She left behind an adopted daughter, Ava Monroe.
